Privacy Policy

For Tiny Empire: Tactical Clash on Android and iOS · Effective 17 September 2026

This policy explains what data Tiny Empire collects, why, and what control you have over it. It covers the game app only, not this website.

The game is made by Bumgao Studio, an independent developer. For anything in this policy, write to vuthiyen1802@gmail.com.

The short version. The game creates an anonymous account so you can play online. It shows ads and measures basic usage through Google. It does not have free-text chat, does not ask for your location, contacts, camera or microphone, and does not sell your data to anyone.

What the game collects

1. Your account

The first time you open the game, it creates an anonymous account with Firebase Authentication. This is a random identifier tied to your installation — it contains nothing about you personally, and it is what lets the game keep your progress and let other players invite you to a match.

If you choose to link a Google account (so your progress follows you to another device), we then also store the email address of that Google account.

2. Your player profile and online play

Stored in Firebase Realtime Database against your account identifier:

DataWhy
Display nameSo other players can see who they are playing. Names are reserved so two players cannot use the same one.
Avatar choiceShown next to your name.
Experience pointsYour rank, kept in sync across your devices.
Sound and language settingsSo the game feels the same on a second device.
Online / offline statusSo friends can see whether you are available to play.
Friend invitesSent and received between account identifiers.
Match dataWhile an online match runs: the room code, each side's moves, and the ID of any quick phrase sent.

There is no free-text chat. During an online match you can only send a phrase from a fixed, built-in list. What travels over the network is a number identifying that phrase, not anything you typed. So there is no way to send personal information — or anything else — to another player through the game.

3. Ads

The game shows ads through Google AdMob to pay for its development. To serve an ad, Google receives your device's advertising identifier, its IP address (which gives an approximate location, usually city-level), and basic device information such as model, operating system and language.

Ads are optional in one sense: nothing in the game is locked behind watching one. When you run out of free matches you are offered either an ad or sharing the game — both give you the same reward.

4. Analytics

The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand things like how many people open the game and how long a session lasts.

We do not write any custom events. Only the automatic ones the SDK records on its own — first open, session start, engagement time, app update and ad impressions — together with an app instance identifier, device model, operating system, language and approximate location from your IP address.

Analytics starts switched off. The app is built so that measurement is disabled before the first line of the game's code runs, and it is only enabled afterwards if consent allows it. See Consent below.

5. Kept on your device only

Your settings and a copy of your profile are saved in your device's local storage so the game works offline. This never leaves your device except through the account sync described above, and it is removed when you uninstall the game.

What the game does not collect

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers listed below.

Consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before it uses your data for ads or measurement. The form is Google's certified consent form and it appears once, when you first open the game.

You have three choices, and all three let you keep playing the full game:

You can change your answer at any time: open the game, tap the settings gear, then Privacy. The change takes effect straight away, in the same session. This entry appears only where consent is legally required, which is why players elsewhere will not see it.

Outside those regions the form is not shown, and ads and basic measurement are enabled by default.

Legal basis under GDPR

Who else receives data

The game runs on services provided by Google LLC. Data is processed on Google's servers, which may be outside your country, including in the United States. Google's handling of it is covered by their own policies:

If you share the game through your device's share sheet, the app you pick handles that on its own terms. We receive nothing from it.

Children

Tiny Empire is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with data, write to vuthiyen1802@gmail.com and we will delete it.

How long data is kept

Your profile and progress stay while the account is in use, so that you do not lose your rank. Match rooms and the moves inside them are temporary and are cleared once the match ends. We may also remove anonymous accounts that have gone unused for a long period.

Deleting your account and data

There are two ways to have your account deleted. Both remove the same things.

In the game

Open Settings (the gear in the top-right corner of the main menu), scroll to Account, then tap Delete account and confirm. This takes effect immediately.

By email

If you have already uninstalled the game, email vuthiyen1802@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. If you played as a guest, include your in-game display name instead. We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

Nothing is kept afterwards, and none of it can be restored. Your language and sound settings stay on your device, because they identify no one.

Uninstalling the game removes everything stored on your device, but it does not by itself delete the account on our side. Use one of the two routes above for that.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how it is used, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email vuthiyen1802@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, note it in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
